This course focuses on the theoretical foundations that inform curriculum design, development, implementation and evaluation. It aims to provide the students with comprehensive knowledge and tools to analyse and critique curriculum principles and issues. Students will work collaboratively to critically review curriculum design models to help inform and improve educational practices. Students will also critically analyse the core features of curriculum foundations in the UAE and international contexts to recommend a practical framework to advance the knowledge about curriculum principles and issues.
