Faculty and students may need links to upload to a file or a shared drive for references.
The results of the search may expire after a certain period of time and these links will no more be available. So we need permanent links to access the results for future use. Persistent links are not always found in your browser window. Do not copy and paste the URL from the browser window of the selected resource unless directed to do so.
Ebsco is a one-stop tool that allows you to search for most of the informational resources available through the library, including books, media, journal articles - all at the same time through one search/query. EDS covers both electronic and print resources. It is best accessed through the library home page (http://libguides.ecae.ac.ae/home), using the search box in the home page screen.
Click on any title in your EBSCOhost results to get to the Detailed Record view. Click on "Permalink" on the right side. Copy the Permalink from the window as seen below.
Click on any title in your Ebook Central results to get to the detailed view of the record. Click on "Share Link to Book" and copy the URL in the box as seen below.
